What We Do

Explainables

An explainable is an interactive digital experience that brings complex ideas, products, and technologies to life. Unlike traditional media - videos, presentations, or static documentation — explainables let your audience understand ideas through hands-on play

We create immersive web-based explainables. Each explainable is tailored to your specific needs, combining photorealistic visuals, intuitive interactions, and thoughtful sound design to create memorable experiences that demonstrate value in context.

Immersive Car Simulation

Interactive Car Dashboard

Explainables bring ideas to life more effectively than traditional media

Client:
Automotive Technology Startup
Problem:
Demonstrate a new automative safety technology to prospective manufacture partners

Big Strudel’s virtual car dashboard allowed car manufacturers to experience a new prototype technology, straight from the driver’s seat. Built with Three.js and WebGL, this immersive 3D web application included photorealistic elements, animated traffic and pedestrian systems, full lighting and sound design.

Airfryer UX teardown

Explainables are effective tools for discovery

Client:
N/A (Research Project)
Problem:
Interrogate the UX flaws of a popular household airfryer

This interactive explainable lets users explore a realistic airfryer interface to discover UX problems through direct interaction. Presented using an immaculately rendered digital simulation of the airfryer, it demonstrates how explainables can reveal design issues that static documentation might miss.

“Conrad at Big Strudel pulled the rabbit out of the hat and saved the day on a last-minute complex client project involving an interactive animated web demo. We needed someone with a sharp aesthetic eye, a good ear for sound design, and a solid grasp of modern web technologies — he delivered across the board. I'd recommend him to anyone!”
